MAMAKU

Our vision and purpose is to share te ao Māori (Māori worldviews) with others so we can support our Taiao (environment), and encourage the connection to Papatūānuku (earth). Guided by the knowledge imparted by our kaumātua (elders) while growing up in Waimārama, and driven by a desire to share te ao Māori with a global audience, Mamaku was born.

Over a decade ago, we personally faced the challenges of sensitive skin. Our own struggles, coupled with witnessing the suffering of loved ones, propelled us to seek innovative alternatives. Amidst the plethora of products, we recognised the need for a fresh approach – one that harmonised modern science with time-honoured wisdom, mirroring the approach of rongoā (traditional Māori medicine)

By giving thanks for the source of nurture from this plant, we hope to retain its mauri (life force) so that it is passed from the plant through to the final product you receive.

NZ NATURAL FORMULAS

Nz Natural Formulas has a range of natural homeopathic formulas. We have been supporting families for over 28 years. Home of the world famous CrampStop, all our formulations, including Revive, Anti Jetlag, Endurance, SLEEP and now the new MyCalm are safe for all ages, do not interfere with other medications and are proudly developed and made in NZ.

ORA

For generations, Māori people of Aotearoa have sourced natural ingredients from Papatūanuku - our revered earth mother - to help heal nurture. But these traditions have remained part of our heritage, our culture, and our whānau - until now.

In 2009, our story began when three Naati Kahungunu sisters - Tessa Davis, Adele Anderson and Karen Renata - decided to create an exceptional range of premium natural beauty products using traditional Māori knowledge.

In all our products is our unique and powerful blend of Mamaku (the black fern) extract. Historically, Māori recognised Mamaku as a powerful healer - using it for rejuvenating, cooling and hydrating the skin. Having taken this traditional remedy, we have developed and refined the harvesting and manufacturing process to create the most potent Mamaku extract possible - the core ingredient in our range of natural body care products.
